UNC students started USP climate classes in Joint Master in Sustainability Science and climate change

This month of March 2020, students from University of New Caledonia started to follow online courses at the Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development, University of the South Pacific.

The new cohort follows the Joint USP-UNC Sustainability Science Master.

This course is the first regional Master’s degree in Sustainability science – Climate change and environmental sustainability in the South Pacific. It is designed in conjunction with collaborations between institutions of the regional network of Pacific Island Universities (PIURN).

It started from August 2021 in a hybrid manner, combining classroom and distance learning on a plurality of complementary disciplines (climate change, environmental sciences, sustainable development, studies of the specificities of the Pacific zone, etc.), taking advantage of the regional expertise.
