Following the Noumea workshop held in October 2022, the outcomes allowed the implementation of the socio-environmental card of New Caledonia.
The PACPATH workshop held from October 18 to 21, 2022 at the Tjibaou Cultural Center and the Pacific Community in Noumea brought together many New Caledonian stakeholders around the issues of marine and coastal environment management. During this workshop, stakeholders worked together to create a common vision of coastal and ocean sustainability and identify effective actions to address the impacts of climate change on the ocean and coastal livelihoods.
Participants worked on a socio-environmental map based on the results of the collective reflection on values and threats, indicators and their status.

Suite au workshop de Nouméa qui s’est tenu en octobre 2022, les résultats obtenus ont permis de mettre en oeuvre la carte socio-environnementale de Nouvelle-Calédonie.
L’atelier PACPATH s’étant déroulé du 18 au 21 octobre 2022 au Centre Culturel Tjibaou et à la Communauté du Pacifique à Nouméa a réuni de nombreuses parties-prenantes calédoniennes autour des questions de gestion de l’environnement marin et littoral. Lors de cet atelier, les acteurs ont travaillé ensemble pour créer une vision commune de la durabilité des côtes et des océans et identifier des actions efficaces pour lutter contre les impacts du changement climatique sur l’océan et les moyens de subsistance côtiers.
Les participants ont travaillé, sur une carte socio-environnementale sur la base des résultats de la réflexion collective sur les valeurs et les menaces, les indicateurs et leur état.
