A PACPATH workshop will be held from October 18 to Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Tjibaou Cultural Center and the Pacific Community (SPC) in Noumea.

This workshop will aim at:

  1. Set up groups of interest to establish a socio-environmental report card (see example below) that will enable the implementation of concrete sustainability pathways for the oceanic and coastal ecosystems, activities and populations.
  2. Establish a common understanding of the most important attributes, resources and services of the ocean and coasts.
  3. Map out common understandings of existing policy frameworks, and highlight alignments and misalignments.
  4. Design a roadmap to fund coherent research that will enable the implementation of sustainability pathways.
